Dr Tina Micevska is the Projects Manager at Ecotox Services Australasia. Tina is responsible for organising and managing projects, which involves liaising with the Laboratory team on testing requirements, liaising with clients on progress and completion dates and the compilation of test reports. Tina is also involved in developing acute and chronic toxicity assays using fish and amphipods for routine testing.
Tina has 9 years experience in the field of ecotoxicolgy, and has been involved in a number of research projects. During her research career she has collaborated with the Department of Environment and Climate Change and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation and has had her research published in various scientific journals. She has also presented her research at both national and international conferences. Tina has a BEnvSc, BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and a PhD in Applied Science. Her PhD research involved understanding the effects of sediment-associated contaminants on marine organisms and the development of methods for the identification of toxicity causing contaminants.
Tina is experienced in a wide range of toxicity tests including freshwater, marine, pore water and sediment, using a diversity of organisms. Tina also has experience undertaking Toxicity Identification Evaluation (TIE) studies on aqueous and sediment samples.
